Perth based producer Silva has been amazing us since he released ‘Intentions’ nearly a year ago today. Following up with incredible releases like ‘Escape’ and ‘Retaliate,’ Silva has proven to be one of the most promising talents coming out of Australia. 2019 is shaping up to be his breakout year and his latest original ‘Unforgotten’ is a testament as to why.
The near 3 minute piece is an emotional epic that draws inspiration from unlikely sources. “Strangely enough at the time of writing this track I was really obsessed with Russian bass and rave music, it has this really distinct eerie kind of sound and it has so much political meaning through it and the video clips. This really took a huge influence in the making of the track. I really recommend checking out the artist NBSPLV, you’ll see what I mean!” says Silva. The producer pulls that inspiration and sprinkles it with his signature future bass meets trap direction. The result is a masterwork that is as eerie as it is beautiful.
