Saturated Warriors compilation which drops Jan. 15th. Ahead of the full album’s release, we have the honour of debuting one of the standout records. ‘On Lock’ is just under 3 minutes of abusive bass, brain-bending sound design and eye-popping samples. It blends a hip-hop inspired swagger with a menacingly experimental bounce. “I’m most proud of the lead sound design. Stumbled across a new technique and it just came our beautifully weird,” THRPY tells us.
A track of this calibre couldn’t just end anywhere as THRPY explains, “We were patient in finding the perfect home for the track. I have been a fan of both Saturate and Sleeveless and it was a goal of mine to release with them. The track compliments the compilation very well I think.” Don’t let his modesty mislead you, ‘On Lock’ is an absolute standout on a compilation that’s extremely stacked.
