Saka’s Ingenuity In ‘Night’s Edge’ Will Leave You Breathless

by Steph Contant

Something about Saka just gets us going here at FUXWITHIT. The mysterious new producer has impressed us with his haunting yet futuristic approach to bass music, and this unique style is bound to make waves in the scene sooner rather than later. Back in November, we had the opportunity to premiere his dazzling and glitchy track ‘Vorpal‘ from his Demon Eater EP. With his debut project, Saka set the foundation for what listeners could expect from the up-and-coming producer, with mesmerizing melodies and peculiar synths captivating your full attention.

The LA-based producer is showing no signs of slowing down, either. Released on Spotify on January 4 but only posted to SoundCloud a few days ago, Saka decided to share a freebie titled ‘Night’s Edge’ with his loyal fans. “[I] wrote this tune at 4 am post candy flip after seeing G Jones live last month,” Saka states about his latest, and the inspiration he drew from that show is truly astounding. Eerie chants and a mystifying melody introduce the track, before the talented producer hastily jumps into experimental madness. Refusing to hold back the energy, Saka unleashes his ingenuity in the form of gritty yet equally beautiful bass, and it doesn’t stop for the entire three minutes. The sophistication behind each meticulously designed synth and raw complexity of the track will undoubtedly leave you in awe.

Any fan of G Jones and Chee needs to hop on the Saka train now. Check out ‘Night’s Edge’ below and grab the free download here.
