KJ Swaka and Hi I’m Ghost reunite with Kannibalen Reocrds for their four track epic EP Misfits.
This is a genre-bending, bass banger is a batch of intense tracks. Legendary drummer, Pendulum’s very own, KJ Swaka shows off his affection for percussion by sharing all different types, sounds, and shapes of it within this plume of hard style electro.
In the second track ‘WAT’ which is also on Kannibalen’s special Christmas Compilation, there are elements of brassy drums, that carry a hip-hop melody through torrents and flutters of snares, sharp drops, and thick wubs.
Another track that stood out was the original of Hi I’m Ghost’s ‘NVR BE’. With quick tapping lyrics, and full throttle trap synths. There are dramatic build ups, followed by satiating sips of bass, all wrapped up tightly with energetic pacing. This track shows off just how fierce and enigmatic Hi I’m Ghost can be.
