The track was actually inspired by sumthin sumthin’s struggle to find a true ‘Home’. “The title ‘Home’ is representative of my struggle finding a place to settle down and have a place to call my own. For a couple years now I haven’t had my own place to live, whether it’s sleeping on couches at my best friends’ houses, or staying at my girlfriend’s house…this has worn on me quite a bit, but there are still loads of positive moments that have come from this, it’s nice to be constantly surrounded by friends and people you love. That is what makes the contrast between the sounds in this song, combining anger and frustration with the happiness and light from people who constantly support and surround me during this uncomfortable situation in this stage of my life,” he explains.
