From first appearing on my radar with a gnarly bass house take on Herobust’s ‘Smother Shit‘ to continuously impressing with tracks such as last year’s wicked trap hybrid ‘Get It‘, Tascione has consistently been a force to be reckoned with in the bass realm. Blurring lines between genres, the Philadelphia-based producer has released on top labels such as Never Say Die and Circus Records, along with earning support from the industry’s finest.
Despite having released only one track over the last ten months, Tascione reversed the birthday roles on his special day yesterday by gifting fans with a new heater titled ‘Stuntin,’ stating that he’s officially back and out of hiatus. ‘Stuntin’ shows fans that the talented producer has only been refining his craft while hiding, demonstrating impeccable sound design and unparalleled flow throughout the track. In the first drop, highly reverberated synths and punchy stabs shine at the forefront of a genre-defying section that’ll have your trap arms swinging while simultaneously having you headbanging. The second half of ‘Stuntin’ is something completely new, where a wonky, ear-tingling drop perfectly rounds out the forward-thinking track.
