Floret Loret has quickly become both a SoundCloud and FUXWITHIT favourite through his experimental yet emotive addition to everything he produces. The month of January was action-packed for the Florida-based artist, where a remix for Ekali and mossy.’s ‘Stay Hollow‘ earned the support from the OWSLA signee himself as well as Alison Wonderland, before delivering a brilliant guest mix for us. Just as we thought he couldn’t get any better, Floret Loret is back with ‘Cantuta,’ the first single from his upcoming Tangled Roots EP, and boy is it something special.
Packing three unique sections into the two and a half minute track, Floret Loret gives listeners a taste of his past inspirations as a musician while simultaneously giving us a peek into his future vision. An elegant melody kicks off the track, creating an essence of beauty and splendour through serene effects. A hasty build-up catapults listeners into an outpour of emotions with a future bass drop that will take your breath away. A short bridge is met by more production brilliance as Floret Loret adds a dynamic bass that meshes perfectly with the ensemble of the track. Just as you thought ‘Cantuta’ couldn’t be more entertaining, the skilled producer flips the track into experimental insanity, further demonstrating his musical prowess.
