sfam and CAMBOT Deliver Picture Perfect Collab ‘splatter’

by Tony Leonard

sfam is at the top of their league with forward thinking trap. At the beginning of this year we had the pleasure of getting together with them for an interview and guest mix. They showcased multiple ID’s that gave us a tease for the upcoming year. sfam blessed us with four collab IDs and seven brand new originals. The next of these to be released can be heard around the 22:30 minute mark of their guest mix, and it is their latest collaboration with Lost Dogz artist CAMBOT. ‘splatter’ is a picture perfect compilation of what these rising and promising producers are capable of.

Flexing their creativity, sfam and CAMBOT start out the track with the latter beatboxing and build from there. The introduction takes us down to the basement and drips in like a leak that is only to become more persistent. The light fades behind us as the door closes and eventually leads to the flood of bass and wonky percussion that is presented at the drop. sfam maintains their dangerous level of low end and are paired with CAMBOT’s creativity for an indefectible collaboration. The minimal layered style of each artist fits together and completes this puzzle of saucy evolving waves of 808’s, leaving you questioning why we didn’t get this sooner. Be sure to check it out below, and get a taste for the rest of their upcoming tracks in the FUXWITHIT guest mix.
