CONFESSION’s ‘Alchemy IV’ is Dark House Music Perfection

by Steph Contant

Tchami’s CONFESSION label never ceases to set the gold standard for house music. Through steady, quality releases, the platform continues to push innovative approaches to the classic genre, selecting seasoned veterans and up-and-coming talents to set the benchmark for the ever-expanding scene. With its Alchemy IV compilation, the label accomplishes what they have done three times in the past, showcasing the freshest house music ready to take over a dance floor near you.

Fulbset and PEACE MAKER! kick off the compilation with nefarious heater titled ‘My Fault’, boasting a wicked bass line that’ll have you grooving all night. Rollerz and Cave Studio follow suit with ‘D.E.A’, making use of grimey vocals and an ominous soundscape to stay true to the dark theme of the compilation. French house prodigy Asdek’s ‘Let Me Tell You’ comes next, where the talented artist creates a divine atmosphere before catapulting his track into a wildly bouncy house banger. With only his second official release, gosha takes the darkness one step further with his demonic ‘La Mour’, a techno and midtempo hybrid that is unlike anything we’ve ever heard. In ‘Reckless’, Dustycloud delivers a bass house jam highlighted by gritty synths and punchy percussion, before Rique keeps the energy alive with ‘When I Go’. To cap off an eclectic compilation, ToMix and JC Ordonez unleash an excitingly catchy anthem in the form of ‘My Garage’.

Another pristine showcase from CONFESSION, Alchemy IV will take you on a journey through the future of house music. Don’t miss it below!
