HVDES is back from her dark underworld and has released a disturbingly dark take on Kasakda’s ‘Disarm You’.
It was years ago that HVDES went to EDC Las Vegas and saw Kaskade play his original track live, and it was a moment that inspired her to create her own music. HVDES remix has eerie and delicate wubs, spooky synths, and vocals that are distorted and sexy but still emotional. Kaskade’s original has been a fan favorite, but HVDES’s gothier take makes all the elements lush and seductive. It’s hard not to catch the animalistic vibes after the drop, or resist getting caught up in the ethereal vocal samples. If this is what springs from the aphotic mind of HVDES sign me up for more.
