A FUXWITHIT favorite known as um.. bless us with a new three track EP titled wouldn’t worry about it. Despite this name, it is assuredly worth pressing the repeat button and giving it undivided attention. Watching um.. grow over the last few years has been refreshing and influential to see. While the forward-thinking experimental bass sound has taken over the scene, Dylan Gold and Ben Bruce provide a different perspective and never fail to deliver top tier production.
wouldn’t worry about it constructs a harmonious display of the ingenious originality that this duo aspires to offer. Each track follows a similar storyline that frenzies into minimalist chaos and beauty. The aesthetic offered by um.. is one that keeps listeners’ consciousness absorbed in a different realm. It is often hard to fit an accurate description of the sounds used; however, they all combine for a spell-binding narrative. The path of this EP gives the three songs their own sense of a daunting nature while providing energetic sub bass and off the wall sampling.
The project presents noises you have never heard of but find it hard to turn your ear from. Dylan and Ben have always pursued embracing the weird and curate their own universal language with the music they supply. Even with all of the deranged sounds, there is still a strong underlying rhythm you will find yourself swaying to. They have managed to manifest yet another organic project revealing the inner core of what um.. is all about.
