Just last week, Flume posted a four-part documentary on his YouTube channel titled When Everything Was New that depicts the iconic musician’s rapid rise to fame. In this documentary, Streten talks about how he had challenges with writing Skin, as he thought he had found his sound with his debut album, but too many people were trying to copy him afterwards. He thus had to stay true to his style while continuously pushing it to new boundaries, which he did better than anyone in the game, leading to an eventual Grammy.
