Pham is one of the many artists that came up during the golden days of SoundCloud and earned widespread acclaim for his innovative sound. From captivating originals to infectious remixes, the Polish producer quickly became a fan favourite within the trap and future bass realms. It has been over a year since any new material was released from the talented artist, but a recent tweet announcing an upcoming project sent me into a rabbit hole of his old, timeless tunes.
Among the standouts is ‘Blackouts’, a classic future bass original that set an early precursor for Pham’s sound and style. Staying true to an original three-note loop throughout the track, the skilled producer adds lush effects, samples and plucks to create an easy-listening, feel-good bop. ‘Blackouts’ is one of those tracks that can easily go unnoticed to people who weren’t big SoundCloud users a few years back, but deserves to be heard as it set the stage for many more Pham classics.
