NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg show their teeth on their fierce collab ‘REDLIGHT’.
‘REDLIGHT’ is a union of electronic and hip hop essentials, and out now on Ultra Records. The duo have also made a post-apocalyptic themed video for the single which reveals more about the inspiration behind the project. With stormy basslines, orchestral dramatics, and dark tension throughout, both artists’ talents shine on this anthem-ready release.
This aggressive trap track has an old school feel with rich brassy samples setting the stage and reigniting for the hook. This flavoring is contrasted with the icy snare trills and bumping bass line. A$AP Ferg’s verses are as ferocious as NGHTMRE’s backing. There is plenty to get hyped to, especially when Ferg tells us to put our “motherfucking hands up,” making it the perfect track to get energized for a night out or whipping through your own turf.
