Together, for the fourth time now, the wonder team has delivered another bliss-inducing single. ‘Ascend’, shows us chromonicci in full swing, ready to crash the internet with his upcoming new EP ‘Peaceful Places.’
In the same way a carousel combines lights, motion, music, to grab childrens’ attention, ‘Ascend’ spins us around using a grandiose polymorphic texture composed by nicci’s certified bouncy bass, trippy synths, romantic strings, improbable vocal sample. As the track keeps going, minute after minute, the lines between these elements became more and more blurry, until you don’t think about it anymore, getting whisked away from reality for a bit.
