Hot off a release with The Dogg Pound, MontyCler returns with a sci-fi inspired banger entitled ‘ta heck?’ The producer has been a science-fiction fan for some time with the elements of the unknown always peaking his interest. “A lot of times I feel like everythings already been discovered here on earth, so it’s always nice to think how much we DON’T know about the shit above our heads,” MontyCler explains.’ta heck?’ take us into an alien encounter with otherwordly soundscapes, wonky bass and trippy vocal samples. The first half feels like coming face-to-face with extraterrestrials on earth, while the second half has you zooming around “another galaxy” in a spaceship at light speed.
The track came from a place of deep inner inspiration. MontyCler expands on this saying, “When I’m making a track I usually don’t have other listeners in mind at first. I’m usually just trying to take myself out of day to day problems and stress. I shoot for that point in a song when I basically loose sight of everything around me and get engulfed with utter bliss. Then after I come back to earth I try to accentuate all the parts that had me the most lost so maybe, just maybe I can evoke the same feelings in others. Got lost in the synths in this one, so I wanted others to get lost with me.”
