Dabow and L*O*J Create The Perfect Recipe in ‘Hyped’

by Tony Leonard

Dabow and L*O*J continue to go above and beyond. These artists resonate 808’s just at the mention of their names. Since the start of this year, this group of producers have been on a mission to present top tier music and continue their efforts at having a recognizable sound. Dabow appears to be like a machine with no off button, with current releases of his EP Creamafollowed by a flip titled ‘VMERICA‘, and his most recent being a sample pack containing a myriad of sounds allowing you to produce anything from a banger to a peaceful track you could study to. L*O*J can be comparable in terms of releases. With nearly a release per month, and some months entailing even more. Just last month they teamed up with Mo Vibez to release their Juggernaut EP. In the midst of all this chaos of releases, efforts have come together on both ends to give us a much needed collaboration. It only makes sense that Dabow and L*O*J have teamed up to present ‘Hyped‘.

In my opinion, collaborations can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the artists workflow and musical composition doesn’t blend as well one would expect. This however, is not the case on ‘Hyped’. A perfect coordination between like-minded individuals, showcasing their worthiness and dedication to the trap scene. There is a synergy replicated that combines the structure of Dabow and L*O*J, allowing integration to embody exactly what one yearns for out of this alliance. The intro sets the tone and allows for pre-drop anticipation. The layers merge in a way to put the bass in your face at the forefront of this track while having an undertone of plucks and percussion creating the perfect recipe for a trap banger. Consistency and quality is the name of the game for these artists and we expect nothing less from them on future releases.
