Jarvis Looks To Keep Brostep Alive In ‘The Bro Code’ EP

by Steph Contant

Since the summer of 2015, Jarvis has been making waves with his dynamic, bass-driven and foot-stomping sound on Firepower Records. Throughout his years as an artist, the London-based producer has experienced a transformation he describes as a phoenix, rising from the ashes of the sounds of old to reveal his new sonic mission: reviving the brostep movement. With a powerful arsenal of heavy-hitting releases and a loyal following as a mainstay on Firepower Records, Jarvis looks to keep this era alive with his latest project, The Bro Code EP.

Featuring the recently released tracks ‘Death Rave’ and ‘Reborn’ as well as the previously unheard ‘New Dimension’ and ‘Moombruh’, Jarvis uses pulse-quickening basslines, serrating synths and unexpected melodies to create a personal style that is aggressive, distinct and festival season-ready. With a sound and rhythm perfect to set any crowd ablaze into a mosh pit, The Bro Code EP gives dubstep fans a taste of old school nostalgia mixed with fresh, forward-thinking production. The added touch of moombahton in ‘Moombruh’ is a quirky addition to an Earth-shattering project, showcasing Jarvis’ ability to delve into other bass realms. Check out The Bro Code EP below!
