Dubstep pioneer and forefather of the hybrid-riddim style coined savage wonk, Dubloadz possesses a remarkable talent for composing malevolent bass soundscapes fitted with a menagerie of left-field noises, rogue samples, and playful vocals that have commanded entire audiences over the better half of the last decade.
Taking things back to the infancy of the dynasty, ‘Brain Food’ presents an unanticipated pairing of styles between Dubloadz & Dabow as a constituent of the genre-oblivious album Titan, released in July 2015. Embracing a more minimal guise, the track leverages middle-eastern flutes and tribal percussion to create expansive spatial depth, which rests cleanly over heroic spires of effusive bass.
