Mr. Carmack has continued his 2019 campaign of terror with yet another release in I <3 Trap, a 3 track ode to specific production styles and overall vibes over the last 7 years. Included are ‘2012’, ‘2013’, and ‘2016’, each with their own distinct flavor and vibe, while still maintaining the overall aesthetic of the EP itself. Chalking up the inspiration for these pieces to Hucci, Flosstradamus, Loudpvck, and Jackal, you already know that there will be titanic amounts of sauce included.
So far in 2019 he’s released Demolish, a surprise 11 track album with help from Mike Gao, Tsuruda, and Promnite, plus 4 singles and his live set from the Do Lab stage at Coachella. Now, he’s unveiled his newest plans to release a track every week for 10 consecutive weeks. To call this man’s work ethic borderline inhuman would be an understatement. If there’s anything to be learned in 2019 from Carmack, it’s that trappin is most definitely a habit.
