Oddprophet Concocts Gut-Wrenching Heater In ‘The Star’

by Steph Contant

Whether Oddprophet tracks are releases on Never Say Die or Never Say Die: Black Label does not affect two certainties: satanic, cult-inspired artwork and impeccable, ear-piercing sound design. With each and every track, the UK-based producer further establishes his reign among the evil geniuses of horrifying yet wildly captivating synths and screeches, and his latest is certainly no exception.

Coming off the ominous ‘The Devil‘ released last month, Oddprophet is back on Black Label with another sinister crowd-stimulator titled ‘The Star.’ Keeping the eerie theme of his previous single alive, the talented producer gloomily builds to an epic climax of bass-clad tension. The drop hits like a serrated knife, with Oddprophet’s jagged sound arrangements penetrating you to your core, punching deeper with every stab. The hostile soundscape only continues to grow as the track progresses, demonstrating the artist’s ability to keep you hooked from start to finish.

With the the track’s punchline stating “I told you I was serious,” you know Oddprophet isn’t messing around with this one. Don’t miss it below!
