Fresh off of their Quality Good Records release ‘Cups Up,’ Sliipow return with a dope new banger entitled ‘Splassh’. The track features vocals from the duos’ rapper friend which are pitched, bent and looped into a hypnotizing, spacey vibe. Add in some pounding bass and some alien synths and this is a certified slapper. We caught up with sliipow to learn a little bit more about how this one came together. “We’re just chillin and playing some video games. We’d been working on this song but we didn’t have a title yet. That one gun on the game that we were playing was similar to the sound design and the gun is like overpowered but it’s really fun to use. The track has actually got a nice vibe. We really thoomin on this track. Got an awesome drop that kinda has bouncy vibes.” It may be inspired by a video game gun but that doesn’t change the fact that Sliipow are packing some serious heat. Sliipow are set for a big year ahead with them telling us to expect, “an album, collaborations, shows etc. We are really grateful with everything that we’ve had all this time. We are so excited to show you guys everything!”
