Ukraine based producer Oleg Lepikhov, aka ELEX, commits to his sound and continues to bring consistent trap and bass-heavy hitters to our speakers. Music provides meaning to him and sets goals in place to be conquered. Despite facing multiple challenges being a Ukrainian artist, he contributes originality and dedication to generate scorching tracks such as ‘Gale‘ and ‘Topic‘. ELEX is here to further his impressive inventory with the latest release of ‘Solar’.
‘Solar’ embarks on an atmospheric journey that casts a meditative intro. “I like beautiful and dreamy intros in heavy tracks, it provides contrasting sounds.” Doing exactly this, ELEX fabricates disparity with the drop and proficiently wreaks havoc with eccentric design guaranteed to make you increase the volume. The breakdown brings us back to a place of tranquility before noteworthy trumpet configuration tears through the air in the second drop.
With Ukraine having an undersized bass scene, ELEX hopes to soon be able to bring his signature sounds to the US. In 2019 we can expect at least two more confirmed EP’s, with the first dropping this summer. Also on his schedule for the year is his first performance in Slovakia this August.
