Chris Sullivant, better known as Sully, made waves back in March when debuting his newest alias with ‘Frequency Shift.’ Since then, the ICON Collective graduate has been slowly yet surely adding to his repertoire of pulsating bass bangers, following up his debut with the rattling ‘Break The Floor‘ and now returning with another crowd-pleaser titled ‘Coast To Coast’ that we are ecstatic to premiere today.
Riddled with dark, gritty energy, ‘Coast To Coast’ is a reflection of the frustrations Sully was experiencing while producing the track. “Most of ‘Coast to Coast’ was produced right after I quit my day job at the beginning of the year and up until that point, I was really frustrated with working a job that just paid the bills. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders when I got hired as a full time studio engineer, and ‘Coast to Coast’ was the creation that resulted,“ Sully states about his latest.
Building on his uniquely Earth-undulating sound, Sully takes listeners on a journey through North America with his latest transportational heater. A sombre introduction leads you to the gates of a mysterious portal as the LA-based artist draws your attention with mystical melodies and underlying bass surges. As you step into the unknown gateway, the track catapults you back and forth between a wonky bassline and nightmarish effects. Drawing influence from both his Michigan roots and current Los Angeles residence, Sully crafts a diverse listening experience filled with no shortage of rugged bass and a subliminal danceable feel – perfect for any club or festival crowd.
