Quality over quantity appears to be the motto that Soltan is preaching for the time being. After being relatively quiet over the last year, the Middle Eastern dubstep don made his return to Never Say Die with the frenzy-inducing ‘Face Slam‘ to remind us all that his absence was merely a hiatus and not a full departure from dominance. Today, Soltan returns to Never Say Die with another scorching single titled ‘The Unburnt.’
Finessing the sound that he has mastered over his career, Soltan kicks off his latest track with his quintessential Middle Eastern chords and oriental chants. Creating an epic, doom-forewarning soundscape as the song builds, crisp percussion and an energy-building riser lead listeners to the drop, where all hell breaks loose. A “break your mother fucking neck” sample brings about a spine-snapping drop highlighted by crunchy bass and incendiary synths. Relentlessly unleashing his fury, Soltan then switches the drop into a screech-dominated portion that will undoubtedly set your speakers or headphones ablaze. In similar fashion to ‘Face Slam,’ the talented producer flips the script in the second drop to deliver a wild hybrid trap finale.
