PREMIERE: Noel Switches To Halftime Heater In ‘Tremor’

by Steph Contant

Having already wrapped up three extended plays over the last year, Russian producer Noel ties it all together today on his debut LP titled Reborn. Combining the previous releases with four brand new tracks, Reborn is the end product from a producer whose aim was to once again immerse himself in drum & bass, and in ProgRAM found the perfect home to do so. And, it is with great pleasure that we get to showcase one of the new tracks here first.

‘Tremor’ is a different beast than the rest of Reborn, as it is the only halftime monster of the bunch. A malicious introduction highlighted by sombre undertones and an almost demonic build in energy leads the track into the bass insanity that is ‘Tremor.’ Through repeated, drawn out minimal electro sounds and an ear-catching, pitch-bending vocal snippet, Noel creates an eerie bass banger with his most distinct work from Reborn, flexing his usual pristine sound design in a fresh and exciting arrangement.

Being the first ever artist album to be released on ProgRAM, Noel definitely cements himself in the label’s history. Reborn is a cohesive body of work from the talented Russian, and ‘Tremor’ is no exception. Check it out below!
