Dutch duo Moksi have been at the forefront of gritty house music ever since the early days of the project. Through a unique sound that blurs the lines between bass house, electro and jungle terror, Moksi have always found a way to stay at the top of the game, and the recent announcement of their debut album titled The Return of House Music, due out on August 2nd via Barong Family, promises for more of this innovation.
Ahead of the album drop, Moksi have treated fans to the first single from the project, tapping a familiar vocalist in Little Debbie for ‘So Fly.’ Hinting at the theme of the album, ‘So Fly’ incorporates a familiar four-on-the-floor, driving house bassline with funky synths and minimal melodies, fused with raw rap vocals for a modern, street-friendly twist on a classic sound. If this first single is any indication into the grooviness of the upcoming project, house music fans are in for a real treat as Moksi have delivered a dancefloor dinger.
