To say that the past year has been a whirlwind of successes for Vancouver based trap boss NXSTY would be a vast understatement. From having his songs played out on main stages by some of the biggest names in the industry, to being featured as one of Excision’s spotlight artists, and curating his own mix series, he’s been a man on a mission. Now, he’s come together for a release on the legendary Insomniac Records with the youthful star out of Portugal, HOLLY, who recently just played EDC Las Vegas and released his Avenal 2500 EP to major praise. These two purveyors of all things that clap with assertion have combined forces with ASAP TYY for ‘Till I Die’, a track that expertly showcases and melds the strengths of both artists.
This track boasts two very individualistic drops, with the first being NXSTY’s patented “make you feel like the world’s ending” type trap beat, and the latter being a much lower pitched tried and true HOLLY sound that rumbles you at your core. ASAP Tyy’s vocals will have you serenading neighboring cars at red lights with “ASAP till I die,” surely causing a ruckus. If there’s a song to get into prime time shenanigans with, it’s this one right here.
