Vermyllion Fuses Warm Weather Grooves With Trippy Experimental Bass on ‘Orange Sunshine’

by Colin

Hot off the release of ‘Purple Pills,’ Chicago-based bass producer Vermyllion returns to take us on yet another audio trip with ‘Orange Sunshine.’ Opening with sun-drenched horns, the producer creates a reggae and dub inspired intro with some psychedelic samples courtesy of Timothy Leary. As the drums build, the LSD hits full force. The drop sends you into another dimension mentally as deep bass and brain-bending sound design take centre stage. Distant horns bleed through pulling you back to earth for a vibey break before the trip intensifies once more. Vermyllion’s ability to balance agressive elements with a laid-back groove is what makes ‘Orange Sunshine’ truly something special. Listen below and grab the free download.
