ELEVATD have been truly elevating their game as of late, with ‘Decimation’, released through Buygore, reaching almost 30k streams and gaining support from some of the biggest names in the industry. Just last week they released a ludicrous guest mix for us, stacked to the brim with 18 unreleased songs that’ll make you grimace so hard in disgust you’ll chip your front teeth. One of the highlights of the mix was an edit they did of Fisher’s ‘Losing It’ that was never supposed to see a release. Due to exceptional fan feedback they’ve decided to unchain the beast and let it loose upon ever-awaiting bassheads’ ears.
The first drop is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, with each bassline leaving an impactful and delightful thud. The switch ups between more hollow but drawn-out notes and quick high-pitched laser sounds create a wonderful dichotomy of noise that allows the person dancing to switch up their moves frequently on the fly. The second drop elongates things even further, expanding upon the already established base elements and making them pop even more and adding further layers to serve up a smorgasbord of audio.
Elevatd continue to show time and time again that they are here to play and can stand their own with some of the top talent around. With a treasure trove of music to come on the horizon and an already impressive list of releases, the future is exceedingly bright for this Chicago duo. This is one fan surely excited for what is yet to come.
