Oddprophet Carves Path Of Destruction With ‘The Tower’

by Steph Contant

First came ‘The Devil,’ before ‘The Star‘ and ‘The Heirophant‘ furthered the common theme of satanic occultism brought forth by Oddprophet. Although the UK-based producer may be a real clown on social media, there’s no denying that every bit of his productions are as serious as can be. Continuing upon the tarot card series of singles, Oddprophet is back on Never Say Die: Black Label with ‘The Tower’ to truly establish himself among the ranks of the best.

Blaring sirens hint at the impending doom that Oddprophet is about to unleash, as demonic samples and frightening melodies lurk throughout the introduction. A rapid build up with intense percussion leads to a mesmerizing display of sound design prowess, as synths mimicking whips, crunchy fills and Oddprophet’s signature style shine in the gut-wrenching drop. Boasting a second half that hits even harder than the first, ‘The Tower’ is but additional proof of Oddprophet’s ever-evolving skills as a bass artist. Don’t miss it below.
