L.U.X Goes On A Murder Rampage Through ‘Stab City’

by Steph Contant

Riding high on a string on self-released singles and label originals, collaborations and remixes, L.U.X has continued to drive the momentum he had gained in 2018 to set himself up for a truly breakout year. From the eclectic yet still heavy Delta EP to contributions to Black Label XL 6 and the recent ‘Zoom‘ remix EP, L.U.X’s ceaselessly flawless meshing of riddim, melodic dubstep and hard rock is quickly propelling him to the top of the heavy bass scene.

Persisting with innovative releases, L.U.X is back on Never Say Die: Black Label today with perhaps his most enthralling tune to date. Lurking through the streets of ‘Stab City,’ L.U.X awaits total darkness to pounce on his next unsuspecting victims. As the last signs of dusk start to fade away, tension grows through futuristic melodies and plucks. A brief pause is met by L.U.X unleashing a relentless offering of undercutting stabs, with each punch of bass dealing more damage than the last. The Israeli producer’s signature ominous synths are heard throughout and added jerks of bass penetrate your soul like a serrate blade. For the entirety of the track, L.U.X showcases unparalleled production skills matched with a natural ability to keep your attention with original switches in pace.
