MineSweepa Returns With His Hard-Hitting Single ‘Fake ID’

by Victor Lovo

2019 is shaping up to be a stellar year for MineSweepa. The California Native came out the gate strong with his first two hard-hitting trap releases of the year, ‘Black Mclaren’ and ‘Stop Talking’. Since then, the trap wizard has shown us his versitality taking us to a more melodic side with ‘Faces,’ a vibey thought-provoking collaboration with the great Tasha Baxter. This time, the trap connoisseur takes on a less serious tone with ‘Fake ID,’ without sacrificing his heavy sound.

‘Fake ID’ leads with an enticing string melody building during the first minute. As the track progresses, a heavily distorted vocal lead adds to the energy already carried by the string melody. Following the build up, we are met with superior sound design in all elements of the mix, snares that jump out at you, subs that masterfully fill in the low ends, and creatively placed percussion elements that add to the trappy feel of the track.
