If you like your music dark and dirty, then I have something for you. SLZRD‘s debut project ‘My EP Is Dropping’ is here to satisfy your dark bass desires. Opening with ‘Cursed,’ the track posses a certain swagger out the gate. From the drum programming, to the brutal bass and Yung Joc samples, when this one comes on it’s definitely going down. Easily the project’s standout, the song mixes hip-hop undertones with overt experimental bass influences for a sound that is pretty much everything we love at FUXWITHIT. ‘Dream Eater’ doubles-down and takes listeners deeper into the darkness with a soundscape that’s even nastier and more aggressive. Sampling ‘Poetic Justice’ on ‘She Can Get It’ SLZRD drags Kendrick Lamar into the dungeons. The stripped down sound and panning of the vocals before the drop will have you looking side to side before you’re brutalized with bass and abusive percussion.
