The Los Angeles based producer Sam Delgado has been continuing his crusade of production prowess throughout the entirety of 2019. With releases on Phuture Collective, Partica Artist Group, Sus Collective, Good Nature Collective, and more, bd hbt has honed in on his true sound and have fully-fleshed it out as of late. The latest addition to bd hbt’s auditory arsenal ‘Permission’ is just the latest example of how far he’s come in such a short amount of time.
‘Permission’ starts off innocently enough, with slight static-like sounds rounded off and given body, but quickly evolves into noises that could only be used in high-brow conversations with the most alien of beings. The first drop will have listeners whipping out the most vicious of finger guns, possibly even calling for a two-handed shotgun blast. Right before the second drop the vocal sample “next” is used before slapping back on beat, ensuring absolutely zero regard for human life. The flow in this track is lethal, trading off arrangements and energy seamlessly throughout, keeping the listener literally and figuratively on their toes.
By putting ‘Permission’ in your rotation, you’re practically signing a waiver ensuring that bd hbt has no liability if any grave harm should fall upon you. This track will be eliciting only the most grimy of bass faces from anyone graced with its sonic presence. With only two months left in 2019, fans should be eager to see how bd hbt closes out this already stellar year. For now, check out ‘Permission’ for yourself below!
