If you still spend your time digging through the depths of SoundCloud chances are you’re familiar with cvrbi, archr, sebjin and ledim. The latter two have both been featured in Focus Five series, with sebjin quickly becoming one of my favourite new producers. If you aren’t familiar don’t worry, their new mega collab ‘takemetothetop’ is the perfect introduction. A short but trippy loop opens things before booming and snappy snares are tossed in the mix. What makes this track so special is its progression throughout. Far from a cut and paste banger, with each passing second ‘takemetothetop’ continues to evolve and morph. There are epic breathtaking soundscapes, mesmerizing synths and the signature bounce that’s driving the future beat/future trap scene right now. The next wave is coming and this is what it’s going to sound like.
