The latest to accomplish this unlikely pairing to a tee is Australian producer Wongo, who combines punchy house music and jokingly satiric vocals to create a late night anthem titled ‘I’m The DJ’ with the help of Nacho Pop.
Accompanied by a hilarious video starring Dr. Fresch, Wongo pokes fun at producers and DJs who take themselves just a little too seriously. With lines such as “I like to make gun hands and shoot with my thumbs” and “I find myself tweeting inspirational quotes mid-set,” it’s hard not to laugh and imagine certain artists who are guilty of this.
