Buffalo, New York based Ryan Sinatra has been expertly crafting sound wave intoxicants for several years now under his production moniker Notixx, consistently curating a wobbly, trance-inducing flow paired with popping bass-lines. With support from the dons Bassnectar, Rusko, and Caspa, and releases on SubCarbon, Firepower, and Play Me Records, his vibrations speak for themselves at this point. His latest release, the Wormhole EP, continues his trend of impressive productions, with many varying styles incorporated within that still feel like connected pieces of a larger body of work. Today, we’ve had the great pleasure of premiering ‘Bust This Roof Down’, a track that will surely shake you to your core.
The first thing you’ll notice about ‘Bust This Roof Down’ is just how immaculate the production is. The layers are so clean you could practically eat a four-course-meal off them, each sound building off of the next and none vying for overall control. The underlying trap aesthetic is palpable, coupled with a silky-smooth flow that will have you grooving at even the lowest volume. Crank this bad boy up and you’ll readily experience the full-bodied bass lines that skirt electricity across your body, immediately transcending one to fresh levels of euphoria. This is a track that is honestly a complete joy to listen to, compulsive re-rinses already firmly slated on the menu.
If Notixx wasn’t on your radar before this, he should be quite the large blip after hearing the entirety of his latest Wormhole EP, especially ‘Bust This Roof Down.’ His keen attention to detail and fine-tuned production aesthetic will have any fans of hi-fi tunes eagerly awaiting his next release. Fear not, the 2nd part of his double EP release, Infinity, is coming next Tuesday. Make sure to mark it on your calendars, as this man is far from done.
