A lyricless jam that is equally perplexing as it is mesmerizing, ‘Develop’ depicts a journey of evolution and growth, perhaps mirroring Player Dave’s recent experiences. What begins as a halftime heater highlighted by grungy synths and a wicked flow takes a one-eighty degree turn around the halfway mark, as Player Dave flips the track into a punchy trap-leaning slapper. Any unsuspecting listener is sure to become short of breathe as each kick hits like a strike to the chest, before the two influences are merged together as ‘Develop’ comes to a close.
