Jon Casey Explores The Beauty Of Nature In ‘Flora & Fauna’ LP

by Steph Contant

Jon Casey has had a monstrous year and there appears to be no end in sight. With EPs on Buygore and Quality Goods Records as well as a handful of additional singles and remixes, one would think the South Africa-native would be satisfied with his 2019 discography. One would be wrong.

Proving to be a beat-making machine unlike any other, Jon Casey makes his mark on DOME OF DOOM today with the highly versatile Flora & Fauna LP. A nine-track endeavour, the project sees the talented producer explore various realms of trap music, in which Jon Casey reflects is a “project that pushed me out of my comfort zone and explores a little bit more of who I am and what I enjoy as an artist.”

First coming to light through two incredible singles, namely ‘BANGA‘ alongside Dabow and ‘TV Room,’ Flora & Fauna is an eclectic mix of pristine tracks that highlight Jon Casey’s strengths as an artist. From bouncy ballads such as ‘Jaded’ to minimal, hard-hitting beats such as ‘Ransack,’ listeners are in for a treat while listening to this project as the innovation is limitless. Every piece stands well on its own while the ensemble flows insanely well from start to finish. Flora & Fauna also sees the highly-anticipated return of the teamwork between Jon Casey and Chee, as the two unleash their creative geniuses in ‘Plymouth’ to cap off the flawless project.

Jon Casey is bound to become a household name in 2020. Don’t miss the Flora & Fauna LP below.
