Straight outta NY, Bailo has been constantly throwing fuel into the fire that is the trap renaissance. In recent years, the trap lord has seen a release on Barong Family and has garnered massive support for his THE BAILO TREATMENT mix series. After showing us his versatility with his last two releases, Bailo returns to the belly of the trap with ‘Pulse.’
The intro of the track includes an ominous drawn-out synth loop passed in and out of various filters which successfully builds the tension even before the drums of the buildup. Around the one minute mark, we reach trap level 9000 with the drop’s hard-hitting horns which play in beautiful contrast to a descending vocal sample playing the counter-melody. Before this section ends, we’re hit with a spacey switch up filled with high pitch synths. After another tension building section, the second drop suddenly slaps you in the face with its massive alarm-like synths which are perfectly off-beat, injecting some human qualities to this rigid trap beat. It’s safe to say what we have here is a festival-ready trap anthem. Check it out below!
