inadze. Impresses Once Again With New EP ‘Storm’

by Alessio Anesi

In case you missed it, back in August I publicly placed a bet on inadze’s head.  Now, after that his brand new self released EP Storm has brought the necessaries confirmations, I’m here not only to reconfirm it, but to double its value.

The four tracks take the good we’ve seen in the previous album Luna’s Fantasy: Anthology and pushes it to a new stage. All of them are powerful festival-like anthems, perfect to be played in real or virtual arenas, but still filled with little details that keep them interesting and stimulating after several home listens. We are far from the banality of big room and a large part of the future bass movement, of course. We are in a grey zone where the latter meets the personality of a brilliant mind, giving birth to something actually fresh and original. Despite each tune clearly showing its own identity, it’s easy to hear how inadze built them starting from the same, common concept. I may sound like an old grandpa, but actually I won’t stop saying how much a trademark sound is essential to the survival of an aspiring artists in this industry, where even the top tiers bargain their firms in the name of a business models.

Big up to inadze then, and congratulations for having earned a spot into my 2020’s ones-to-watch list.
