Fresh off the duly anticipated release of his Tangential Zones EP, it only felt right to revitalize one of the many bass antiquities of Santa Cruz-native G Jones. Teaming up with West Coast-based granular synthesis sensation Bleep Bloop, the two producers set to work giving a textured bass treatment to A$AP Rocky’s coveted 2013 rap anthem, ‘M’s’, that features protracted fragments of distorted vocals amid plunges of gritty bass and pulsating digital fills.
