New York based bass maestros Mike Ortiz and Michele Failla have been wheeling and dealing grime-face inducing vibrations for under their monikers of GvO and Krxnik respectively. Curating deep, hard-hitting tracks through their creative platform in the form of the Obskure Collective, they’ve been consistently pumping out heat from some of the heaviest hitters in the underground wub-centric community. Their first iteration in their compilation albums earned major attention recently in the form of Obskurities Vol. 1, featuring heat from Walter Wilde, Notixx, Laika Beats, and more. Today, we’ve had the pleasure of premiering their latest collaboration in the form of ‘Run That Back’, a devilish track that will surely set scores of crowds ablaze.
‘Run That Back’ is one of those tracks that will make you stop what you’re doing and intensely listen to what is currently assaulting your eardrums. Swampy, thick, and destructive, this piece will readily entice your limbs into only the most maniacal of flails. Utilizing sharp switch-ups and changes in flow, ‘Run It Back’ will constantly keep you on your toes, your mind never fully getting lost in the moment as it’s presented with unexpected turns and twists. The grossness of this track will have even the most seasoned of sonic veterans lifting their noses and contorting their faces from the sheer irresponsible levels of gritty bass lines. For fans of the blooming underground community, the Obskure Collective and their throng of immensely talented curators will surely be a delight of continuously pristine content.
