Tapping label-favourite TVBOO and FUXWITHIT-favourite Runnit with their first release of the decade, the label looks to make a statement with a collaboration of epic proportions.
Uplifting pads and a cutesy melody kicks off ‘Clear’ in a misleading fashion, as there is nothing comforting about what follows – unless wicked bass and gnarly sound design is what warms you. The sample “when the chronic smoke clears, all you gon’ see is” brings about the catastrophic barrage of bass that follows, where guttural frequencies paired with quirky fills come together to form a late-night club banger. Fusing experimental sounds with a straight gangster sound palette, this is assured to be on repeat for all trap and bass fans.
