Released via Neotic, Nostalgialways opens with the promise to bring you to a trip down through the artist’s memory lane and his post college struggles, but instead it quickly becomes an excuse to get lost in a dreamy journey inside our inner selves. The incredible smoothness of the beats give the impression of lifting you from the ground and making you float in a sweet stream of consciousness, where happy youthful memories flow next to instants of vaporous nostalgia and rising hopes. While the lo-fi pace of the three songs is highly hypnotic, there’s still room for a variety of virtuosity and expedients that never fail to make you shiver and keep the compositions fresh and dynamic.
