Here at FUX, we’re no strangers to what the young trap lord Shockface can do, but nevertheless we’re always pleasantly surprised. This time the trap wizard returns with another one of his “Inversions,” with his take on Ian Munro’s ‘Rush.’
Right out the gate, the tone is set with a menacing under-lying sub that amplifies the energy of the vocals. After a quick build-up, we’re thrown into a drop full of gritty subs and modulated trapped out vocals. After another quick build-up, the second drop combines those gritty basses with some harmonizing hi-pitched synths which round out the track beautifully.
