The Untz Festival Returns With Momentous 2020 Lineup + New Venue

by FUXWITHIT

Celebrating its 5th anniversary as one of the most musically progressive events in all of the west coast, The Untz festival is scheduled to return this year with the continued vision of “An intentional co-created community gathering; integrating underground and electronic dance music, visionary art, creative expression, and transformational counterculture.” 2019 proved to be a wildly successful event all-around, and they are looking to capitalize on this blazing momentum with an even bigger and better lineup at a brand new venue located in the picturesque Sycamore Ranch in Browns Valley, California. Curating a momentous collection of forward-thinking artists, The Untz has provided a return of past favorites as well as a variety of newly-fresh high-demand bass artists and collectives.

A readily palpable theme for the lineup this year is giving artists multiple sets to allow for maximum creative freedom and expression. Spearheading the sonic crusade are immensely successful acts such as Charlesthefirst (and a delectable treat in the form of a set from his side project Hawk.), a Deep, Dark, and Dangerous Takeover featuring Truth, Khiva, and Angelic Root, Chee and Digital Ethos (including a Cheethos b2b), Yheti and Of the Trees (with an ultra rare b2b from them), Mr. Bill and kll sMTH (and a massive KLL Bill set). There’s also many FUXWITHIT favorites in the form of takeovers from Lost Dogz, Spicy Bois, Above & Below the Surface, Wormhole Music Group, and Lofreq Records, along with highly anticipated sets from Smoakland, Phers, and many more!

A major facet of the culture of The Untz Festival is their creative expression and thoughtful community integration. In previous years, the fest has provided a variety of workshops, lessons, yoga, and ceremonies, and we wholeheartedly look forward to what they will contribute this time around. Discover modern and contemporary installations with the head of the art gallery, and lounge in the hands of Apex Collective and The Wormhole Mural Squad. Apex Collective is a collaborative effort between the artists Jake Amason, Stephen Kruse and Zach Jackson, while The Wormhole Mural Squad shares a similar vision with a selection of different artists that help bring paintings to life. In addition to this team of artists, main-stage will be hosting The Siren Society once again, which is an assembly of aerial artists, dancers, fire and flow, models, and so much more.

Be sure to secure those early bird tickets while they remain here, with the option of a 2 or 3 day pass, and many more camping accommodations including pre-setup reserved campsite and gear rental for those traveling long distance. This captivating escapade aims to be a truly transformational experience for all patrons that leave you with the only option of adding it to your festivals to-go-to list.
