UK based aspiring sound bender, bass kingdom storyteller and shoe fanatic Khaos aims to lock in his sights for the ‘Head Shot’. It all started for him around 12 years ago in 2008 when receiving a guitar would slingshot him directly into the world of music. Being a devoted metal-head early on, he quickly learned to train his ear and began to memorize guitar tabs. He would then go on to move to Switzerland shortly after which would only assist with the expansion of his musical palette. An exploration of more genres began where he would discover more things with a jazz-esque or bluesy sound and some reggae as well. After Switzerland, he went on to move again this time to France where he would continue exploring more. Eventually discovering things like hip hop, pop and his final transition into electronic music. In 2012, Khaos received Ableton and hasn’t looked back since and we are thankful he was able to venture his way into the community.
Khaos only has a few tracks listed on his SoundCloud, with some flips and some being originals. Despite his low track count on there, Quality Goods Records recognized the skill being harnessed. Khaos receives his QGR debut with the next installment of Quality Treats in ‘Head Shot’. Combining some hot UK Grime vocals in the intro, Khaos brings a whole new element to the drop. Containing classic 808 heavy drum patterns, the loop over the top has an oriental like soundscape. Going for the kill in the last drop, the breathtaking percussion rolls off each other and tests what speakers are capable of handling.
