A diverse figment of music production, Dan Dixon has been steadily gaining composure over the course of a 5-year audible conquest producing and performing under the guise AVANCE. While the concept of being confined to a single genre can be a crippling mentality for some artists, Dixon has in-turn leveraged a propensity for a variety of styles as a primary catalyst in his work, utilizing his equally-weighted craft as a cunning advantage in his ever-burgeoning list of solo and collaborative efforts.
Following the release of his Destroy All Humans EP last April, AVANCE returns to Bassweight Records with a vengeance for unfinished business and an insatiable thirst for dubstep. The Odious probes further within Dixon’s production acumen, unmasking sonic brutality that takes shape over the course of the project, which features three solo endeavors as well as a merciless collaboration with K-NINE.
Outfitted for auditory warfare, AVANCE’s latest is not for the faint-hearted or soft-stomached. Be sure to check out The Odious EP in full below!
